The Douglas State Trail is a 12.5-mile, paved multi-use trail that winds through the picturesque countryside of southeastern Minnesota, connecting the towns of Rochester and Pine Island. 
The trail is a popular destination for cyclists, walkers, runners, and inline skaters, offering a variety of scenic vistas and opportunities for outdoor recreation. It follows the abandoned Chicago Great Western Railway corridor, offering a relatively flat and easy ride with minimal elevation gain.
